It’s Okay to Hate Hard Work

You don’t have to like eating right and exercising.

In fact, it’s okay if you hate those things.

You just have to hate eating right and exercising slightly less than you hate being out of shape.

You don’t have to like working hard.

In fact, it’s okay if you hate working hard.

You just have to hate working hard slightly less than you hate going nowhere.

You don’t have to like facing that lifelong issue you’ve been dodging.

In fact, it’s okay if you hate facing that issue.

You just have to hate facing that issue slightly less than you hate the damage that ignoring it creates.

As has been said many times and many ways, we rarely make a move until the pain of not changing is greater than the pain of changing.

But why wait until then?

We can spend a great deal of time waiting to want to do something.

Waiting to feel motivated.

Waiting for our hearts to shift.

In fact, a person could wait a whole lifetime.

Or we could just choose to make the change. Now.

If we’ll just use the will that we’ve been given, very often our hearts will follow after.
